Blue Super Moon

I woke up today feeling tired, but I’m proud of myself for still getting up, stretching, hydrating, and going for a run. It was beautiful, with the super blue moon from the previous nights still in the sky, the constellations visible, and the first light of the sun coming in from the east. I felt a balance between the moon and the sun, and like I was shooting for the stars—if that makes any sense. Pat yourself on the back for pushing through. There will be a day when you can’t walk, so take advantage of this time and give thanks to God. The greatest lessons seem to be the ones that are internal—the ones that make me face my fears and recalibrate why I hold onto certain vices.

I’m choosing to build a company that inspires and motivates professional creators. I have to be the archetype and prototype for what I’m selling, and I’m up for it. The only barrier between me and peak performance is me. What a beautiful realization. I wonder who will try to throw a wrench in my plans today. They don’t know what’s coming for them—it won’t be pretty. There’s nothing like a scorching 108° day to make you confront yourself. There’s no escaping what needs to be done. No wasted movement—everything matters, and there’s no gain without pain.
